Throughout my pregnancy I used the Disc to question my Higher Self about various aspects of the pregnancy, such as my diet and which supplements to take. In particular I wanted to know where it would be best to actually have my baby: whether at home or in the hospital? Being inclined to follow the ‘natural way’ I ideally wanted to have a home birth. However when I asked what my Higher Self thought, it answered differently and it advised me to have a hospital birth.

A month before the due date, Michael and I took a tour of the maternity unit at our local hospital and we noticed a birthing pool in one of the rooms. We both checked with our Higher Selves and received a ‘yes’ signal when we asked whether a water birth would be best. At the time I wondered whether my Higher Self knew all along about the birthing pool in the hospital!

The day I went into labour and was rushed to hospital, the midwife came to check my iron levels. Previous tests had shown that I was slightly anaemic during my pregnancy and if my readings were too low then I wouldn’t be able to go through with a water birth. I gave a command to my Higher Self to boost my iron levels to an acceptable level for the midwife. When she returned an hour later to give me the results of the tests, she said that my iron levels were fine – in actual fact they were higher than hers were!

In the final stages of labour I went into spontaneous command mode and was giving commands automatically. I asked for my cervix to dilate at the best and quickest rate for me and for the baby to assume a position that would ensure a quick and pain-free delivery for both of us. Once I gave the commands, every thing happened very quickly, and the actual delivery only took 20 minutes. The birth itself was amazing. Zak was welcomed into the world by an audience of midwives who had never witnessed a water birth before. Even though the pool had been there for 18 months, apparently I was the first person to use it.

I definitely know that my Em-Power Disc helped me during labour. However I also used the Disc right throughout my pregnancy to remove any fears associated with the birth process. More importantly I activated the Optimum Health Programmes One and Two whilst Zak was in my womb so that he could get the benefit from them too. Remarkably, I was able to spare him from the negativity contained within my Instinctive Programming which had taken me 5 days to clear!

I am very proud that Zak is one of the first ‘Disc babies’, he has a smile for everyone he meets and I receive so many comments on how good, happy and contented he is. It is so wonderful that the healing we do on ourselves using the Disc can be sent into the future, helping us produce holistically healthy children who will grow up to bring about the much-needed changes in this world.
