If our needs are not meet in the way we think is right it creates a sense of lack which can lead to positive and or negative behaviour. We spend our entire lives looking for management techniques that can help us fulfill these fundamental needs.

Apart from some of the elements associated with Sustenance; Air for example we have some level of influence over most of our fundamental human needs. The problem arises when we look outside ourselves in order to fulfill our needs. If your happiness is determined by a specific set of needs that relies on others then you will find it impossible to maintain.
